President of the United States Donald Trump plans to invoke Defense Production Act as a part of efforts to curb coronavirus outbreak, Fox News reported.

The law will help the White House to boost production of masks, protective gear to prevent the spread of the virus.

Trump also called himself “in a sense, a wartime president.”

The coronavirus pandemic spread to all 50 states with the number of deaths exceeding 100. Overall, the United States confirmed 6,400 coronavirus cases.
