TBILISI. - A peaceful torchlight procession dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey will be held in Georgia on April 23.

The procession will start at Vake Park in Tbilisi at 8:00 p.m. and will end in front of the Turkish Embassy in Tbilisi.

A peaceful protest under the slogan of “We remember and fight for justice!” will be held near the Turkish Embassy. The protestors will demand recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey.

The organizer of the event is “Community of Armenians of Georgia” NGO. “Armenian Cooperation Center of Georgia”, “Armenian Student Association of Georgia”, “Armenian Youth Union of Georgia” and “Armenian Youth Association of Georgia” NGOs have joined the initiative.
