YEREVAN. - Armenian Miasin (Together) youth union organized an exhibition dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Around 1,500 young people were holding photos dedicated to the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire, pogroms in Azerbaijan, in particular in Sumgait and Maraga, as well as cultural genocide perpetrated by Azerbaijan and Turkey. They turned avenue located in the center of Yerevan into an open air exhibition.  

Head of the union Hakob Hakobyan said the exhibition aimed at acquainting the guests with the Armenian Genocide is held for the first time. Photos are also posted on the social networking websites. Besides, members of youth union also handed letters demanding recognition of the Armenian Genocide to the foreign diplomatic missions in Armenia.
