Friday is the second day that journalists are not allowed to attend the meetings of the committees of the National  Assembly of Armenia due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Media representatives are allowed to attend the sessions for no more than 10 minutes, after which they have to follow these meetings on live broadcast.

Due to the novel coronavirus, the government has declared a state of emergency in Armenia, which will be in effect from March 16 at 6pm to April 14 at 5pm. The first case of coronavirus infection in Armenia was discovered on March 1.
