The UK government ordered the closure of social venues including pubs, clubs and theatres because of coronavirus threat, Prime Minister Boris Johnson told reporters.
Johnson said they have to step up efforts to reduce the speed of the coronavirus's spread.
The government also launched an unprecedented economic rescue plan and offered £6 billion of extra support for the welfare system.
