Russian president Vladimir Putin declared the need for extraordinary measures to stop the spread of coronavirus.
His remarks came during the online summit of the Eurasian Economic Council, Gazeta reported.
According to him, the pandemic peak is not over in Russia.
The president noted that Russia is actively working on drugs and a vaccine for COVID-19.
