Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), in March 2020, Zvarnots International Airport of Yerevan canceled 202 flights, while Gyumri’s Shirak Airport canceled 13 flights. This is what Armenia International Airports CJSC told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The company also informed that, in the mentioned period, none of the employees of the airport has been fired, and 780 employees are in forced idleness.
