Central Bank of Russia has allowed using expired credit cards until July 1, RBC reported.

Payment systems Visa, Mastercard and Mir have earlier recommended banks to service expired cards.

According to the Mastercard, this is necessary so that holders do not have to visit bank branches during the COVID-19 pandemic.

By the way, the Central Bank of Armenia made the same decision. There is no need to prove the relevance and necessity of such a measure under quarantine in the country.
