A well-known businessman and philanthropist Arman Norat died in Chicago aged 85, Azg reported.
His parents fled Turkey during the Armenian Genocide. Immediately after the 1988 earthquake, he organized a fundraiser in the Armenian community of Chicago and helped his historic homeland.
It is planned to organize a gala evening in his memory in the coming summer or autumn.
