YEREVAN. - A total of 4,604 marriages were registered in Armenia (3,9% increase) as compared to the same period last year, Karine Kuyumjyan, Head of Census and Demography Department, Armenian National Statistical service, told reporters on Saturday.
At the same time, the number of divorces in Armenia also increased, making 9,4%. A total of 966 divorces were registered in 2011.
