YEREVAN. – Taking into account lack of adequate response from the OSCE Minsk Group Armenia should respond to Azerbaijan’s provocations, head of Heritage parliamentary group Stepan Safaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

However, Armenia’s response should not be military, he stressed.

It was reported on Friday evening that Azerbaijani snipers injured one and killed two Armenian soldiers. Nagorno-Karabakh MOD issued a statement regarding the incident.

According to the MP, Armenia should take certain steps: recognize independence of Nagorno-Karabakh, file a lawsuit against Azerbaijan for unleashing military actions and against Turkey for imposing blockade on Armenia. The third step, Safaryan believes, may be Yerevan’s temporary refusal to participate in the peace process.
