YEREVAN. - Armenian prime minister Tigran Sargsyan donated AMD 1 million ($2700) to the second literary telethon "Book is my Friend" organized by Armenian Writers Union.
Earlier PM stressed the importance of telethon and urged everyone to actively participate in the event. The telethon will be summed up on May 3 in Armenian Writers Union.
The 500th anniversary of the Armenian typography will be celebrated in 2012. UNESCO declared Yerevan 2012 World book capital.
