Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II received on April 29 Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan.

Head of the Georgian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church bishop Mirzakhanyan and adviser to the Georgian president Van Bayburd were present at the meeting, Armenian foreign ministry’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The sides discussed issues related to inter-church relations, including the problems of granting legal status to traditional religions presented in Georgia.
