Tesla Model 3 owner has locked carjacker inside the car using a smartphone, RG reported.

According to police at Barstow, California, on May 8, a car thief climbed into Tesla with the owner and ordered him to leave the car. The driver decided not to take risks and obeyed, but then opened the Tesla app on his iPhone and locked the carjacker inside the car. 

The police arrived at the scene. The criminal was arrested.
