YEREVAN. The cooperation between Armenian capital and Austrian cities is of common interest, Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan stated at the meeting with Austrian Ambassador to Armenia Michael Postle on Tuesday.

Karapetyan stressed the contract between Yerevan and Austrian Svarko company signed in February will help to introduce a system of safe traffic in Yerevan, the press service of Yerevan City Hall informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Mayor of Yerevan also referred to the programs deepening cooperation in the health sphere, attaching significance to Austria’s experience in this field.

The sides expressed confidence that mutual visits between Yerevan and Vienna municipalities’ representatives will create new opportunities for implementation of further programs.
