YEREVAN. – The issues related to nuclear energy security were discussed during the visit of Lithuania’s President to Armenia.

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite noted that after an accident in Japanese Fukushima NPP the issues related to nuclear security are topical all over the globe.

“During the meeting with Armenian president we discussed the problem of granting of free information about security in NPPs to all EU partners. It will support confidence-building measures. During the meeting with President Sargsyan I realized he is ready to provide such information,” said President Grybauskaite.
