People on social networks write indecent comments about people who dare to say that they had, say, a specific number of patients who were waiting to undergo treatment at hospitals. This is what deputy of the Prosperous Armenia faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Naira Zohrabyan stated during the discussion on extension of the regime of state of emergency for another month.

“There were hospitals that declared that they were ready to receive patients with COVID-19 back in March. Why weren’t those resources used? Who is responsible for this? After all, there will come a time when the relatives of the deceased citizens will ask who was to blame for that. Even today, I received calls from citizens telling me that there are paramedics that tell the patients to check to see if the particular hospital will receive them. This is not the way to go. I believe we deputies also saw how a patient had asked for help on social networks, and the Ministry of Health responded and helped transfer the patient to a hospital. However, this isn’t the right way to solve the issues,” Zohrabyan said.
