Edmon, do you know the difference between you and Hrayr? Many things: Many things that are condensed into the fact that [Constitutional Court president] Hrayr Tovmasyan's godchildren suffer hardships, are arrested on the orders of a madman, and like a man resist all attacks for the sake of the state and for the sake of their best man [of their wedding], whereas your godchild betrays you at the first convenient opportunity, then, sitting in the NA hall, watches how they first humiliate and then beat his best man [of his wedding]. These are objective consequences. Mikael Minasyan, the former Ambassador of Armenia to the Vatican, on Wednesday noted this on Facebook, and addressing Edmon Marukyan, leader of the opposition Bright Armenia Party and head of its parliamentary faction. Minasyan added as follows:

"You have been accused for two years of being my project and, thus, being able to guide holding your nose at the expense of your dignity. You live in [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's sick reality, and you have become a slave to that pseudo-reality. Because of the fear of being associating with me, you have become a puppet, a poor attachment to the power of the enemy of the state and the people, destroying with you the future and political career of many brilliant young people.

You had a choice today. And the choice was between the state and the enemy of the state. You chose the latter by hitting the last nail in the coffin of democracy in Armenia with your own hands. By swallowing your dignity, by being subjected to the blackmail of those who ‘wipe their feet’ on you for three years, you broke the backbone of our state by committing political and moral suicide.

Unlike you, Edmon, Hrayr and the other judges of the Constitutional Court did not give in to blackmail, they were not afraid of the threats and hysterical attacks of the insane [person], they did not give in to cheap manipulations. Do you know why? Because they have dignity.

From now on, there are no sides in the Republic of Armenia. You are either with the insane [person] or with the people. I was ready to become your ‘project’ today if you had stood by the people, but you chose the prospect of being gotten rid of the country's political arena—together with pus. You will be thrown away, carrying the stigma of ‘former’ and ‘pro-Nikol’ forever. Do not doubt! We will leave the institute of political leeches in the past, too.

Distinguished members of Bright Armenia,

If there are people in your ranks who still accept the real reality, not Pashinyan's Facebook, then become an opposition; real opposition. Get out of the destructive power, stand with the people! The people will be grateful, and we will be your humble servants. You still have a chance to give up your servile future.

There is already one opposition in the National Assembly of Armenia, represented by the PAP [Prosperous Armenia Party]. Despite all the political persecution, each of them will always walk with an open and proud head because, without hesitation, they did everything in their power to prevent the destruction of the country of law.
