Iran has recorded 133 new COVID-19 deaths in a day, bringing the total number to 9,996, Iran’s Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said on Wednesday.
According to her, 2,531 new cases were recorded over the past 24 hours, and 1,340 of them have been hospitalized, IRNA reported.
In the meantime, 2,869 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Iran has reached 212,501.
