Late this evening, police officers wanted to apprehend Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court of Armenia Edgar Ghazaryan, and illegally. This is what attorney Mihran Poghosyan told Tert.am.

“Police officers have illegally stopped Edgar Ghazaryan’s car and want to apprehend him. This is all due to the fact that Prosperous Armenia Party has sent an application to the Constitutional Court challenging the constitutional amendments, and the authorities have taken action,” he said, stating that he is going to the scene of the incident.

According to the attorney, this is pressure and an illegal act that the authorities are committing against an employee of the Constitutional Court. Later, Mihran Poghosyan informed that Edgar Ghazaryan hadn’t been apprehended.
