YEREVAN. - Police prevented illegal tree cutting in the territory of Sevan peninsula.
Armenian Minister of Ecology ordered to start tree cutting down in the territory of Sevan peninsula in order to open public beach, Legal Country civil initiative informed.
115 trees were cut down by last week in 25-30 meters from the lake. Police prevented illegal cutting as there was no legal document for cutting.
