Governor of Shirak Province of Armenia Tigran Petrosyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“The unprecedented hail and rain in Gyumri today damaged not only vehicles, but also homes, the basements of apartment buildings, service outlets, as well as streets and power supply infrastructures. Works are underway to restore electricity in the districts of Gyumri. The municipality is assessing the damages.”
