The United States authorities intend to restrict Mexico and Canada border crossings until later August, Politico reported referring to three people familiar with the plans.
“It’s an almost certainty,” a senior administration official told POLITICO.
According to him, the corresponding official announcement will be made until July 21, after which the restrictions will be extended for another 30 days.
The measures in question were initially introduced in March and then extended several times.
