Russian Deputy FM Andrey Rudenko and the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, discussed the situation on the border of Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the situation on the border of Georgia and South Ossetia, the Russian MFA reported.

A phone talk between Rudenko and Klaar took place on Friday at the initiative of the EU side.

“The readiness was confirmed to provide further assistance in the search for mutually acceptable solutions to the outstanding issues,” the MFA noted.
