The Armenian Foreign Ministry assessed the Turkish participation both in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and in the latest aggravation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, foreign ministry spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan told a briefing.

However, according to her, Turkey cannot play any role or carry a historical mission either in the conflict or in the region.

"Turkey has already left the stamp of genocide in the region, and the first thing the Turkish side should undertake is to eliminate its consequences. We call on Turkey to do this, and not to enthusiastically participate in another anti-Armenian initiative," she noted.
