The Police of Armenia and Yerevan Municipality aren’t letting traders sell their produce at the produce market on Komitas Street in Yerevan, and the traders are protesting against this.

“We’ve been working here for the past nine years. This is the only place where villagers can sell their produce. It seems to us that we are disturbing an important person and there is an order from the authorities to close this market,” one of the traders told a representative of Yerevan Municipality.

The representative told reporters that the employees of nearby produce stores complain that they aren’t able to sell their products three days a week due to the existence of the produce market.
