The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has refuted Azerbaijani mass media’s misinformation according to which mortars have been transported from Serbia and Russia to Armenia via Georgia.
As reported Interpressnews, citing the press service of the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgia and Azerbaijan are linked by strategic partnership and the long-time friendship between the two peoples, which is growing and deepening.
“An Azerbaijani media outlet disseminated misinformation containing several discrepancies. Unfortunately, the assumingly serious online media outlet of Azerbaijan presents the facts with bias, misleads the public and tries to cast a shade on the strategic partnership and friendship between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
Once again, we emphasize that Georgia and Azerbaijan are linked by strategic partnership and the long-time friendship between the two peoples, which is growing and deepening, both countries play a major role in the region and jointly carry out several significant global and regional projects. This article is intentional and is aimed at artificially creating a problem between the two countries, which are strategic partners.”
