Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan today chaired the regular session of the inter-agency commission coordinating the actions ensuring implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and the Armenia-EU Partnership Priorities Document, as reported the press service of the Government of Armenia.
The members of the commission discussed the course of implementation of several actions prescribed for the year 2020 as a deadline. They particularly touched upon the process of approximation of the European Parliament’s Directive on the conditions for granting and using authorizations for the prospection, exploration and production of hydrocarbons, as well as approximation of the Directive of the European Parliament on the initial qualification and periodic training of drivers of certain road vehicles for the carriage of goods or passengers, and Deputy Ministers of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Lilia Shushanyan and Armen Simonyan delivered reports on the approximation of the Directives.
Taking into consideration the number of actions in the transport sector of the roadmap for implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, after the session, it was decided to hold another session to discuss the actions in the transport sector in detail.
