YEREVAN. - A total of AMD 4.702 billion was allocated to the Armenian president’s staff in 2010 instead of budgeted AMD 3.67 billon.
Speaking in the parliament, Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazyan said that budget was implemented on 99.16%. The foreign trips and costs related to the reception of foreign delegations increased the expenses of president’s administration. As compared with 2009, funding of Armenian presidential administration increased by 38.4%.
A total of AMD 100 million was allocated to preserve political parties and NGOs. Public awareness program was implemented on 100% (AMD 76 million).
