Pakistani artillery on Tuesday morning bombarded Indian positions in Kashmir, TASS reported referring to The Hindu newspaper.

According to it, the Indian artillery was forced to return fire. Artillery fire continues in this section of the Indian-Pakistani undefined border. No casualties were reported on either side.

Pakistan violated the ceasefire in Kashmir on Tuesday for the eighth day in a row, Indian military officials told the publication. Over the past two weeks, more than 20 cases of ceasefire violations by Pakistani forces have occurred on the line of control.
