Tehran has not changed its stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, said representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast.

Iran stands for peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict within the framework of international law and continuation of talks, he told journalists commenting on the recent statement made by Iranian Embassy in Yerevan.

Last week Iranian Embassy in Armenia issued a statement saying “Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be settled through a dialogue, non-use of force and respect for people’s right to self-determination”.

Mehmanparast also said that Iran is ready to assist the sides in resolving the conflict.
