The rally of supporters of the incumbent President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko kicked off on Sunday in downtown Minsk, TASS reported.

Speaking first before the audience, the deputy of the lower house of parliament Gennady Davydko said that the moment has come when the homeland is in danger.

“We respect the choice of those who think differently from us, but we want our choice to be respected as well. We want to be friends with all countries, we do not want clashes on the streets of our cities. We want to love our children, and not argue with them about politics," Davydko said.
