Turkey has circulated a new notification to captains of Mediterranean vessels, broadcast via the international automated warning system NAVTEX, the NTV TV channel noted.

According to him, this is due to the fact that the drilling ship Yavuz will conduct exploration drilling off the coast of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea from August 18 to September 15, TASS reported.

Currently, two other Turkish ships are carrying out similar work in the Mediterranean. These actions by Ankara were harshly received by Athens.
