The European External Action Service has already begun developing a sanctions list for the Belarusian leadership, TASS reported referring to the representative of EU diplomacy Nabila Massrali.
Massrali also noted that the sanctions will be adopted within the framework of the existing sanctions regime against Belarus, which is valid until February 28, 2021, and includes a ban on the supply of weapons to this country, as well as a blacklist of four people associated with the disappearance of opposition figures and journalists.
