Russia has reported 4,744 new coronavirus cases and a total of 961,493 cases in one day, as reported the operative headquarters for the fight against the spread of the novel coronavirus, according to TASS.

In the past day, 2,456 more patients with COVID-19 have recovered from the disease (this is the lowest number of recovered patients since May 10). Based on the statistics, total of 773,095 patients have already recovered (80.4% of infected persons).

In the past day, the number of deaths from the coronavirus has risen by 65, and a total of 16,448 people have died.
