The Ministry of Defense of Belarus has reported Lithuania’s attempt to violate the country’s airspace, BELTA reports.

On August 23 at 7:30 p.m. the Air Force troops succeeded in preventing Lithuania’s provocation near the Volkovshchina settlement in Oshmyany region.

The flight was prevented without the use of weapons. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus is preparing a note of protest to be addressed to Lithuania.
