Moscow declared the Austrian diplomat persona non grata following the same step in Vienna.
Earlier Vienna expels an employee of the Russian diplomatic mission in connection with the spying case. The Austrian Foreign Ministry clarified that the behavior of the Russian contradicts the convention on diplomatic relations, RIA Novosti reported.
Ambassador of the Republic Johannes Aigner was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
