President of Russia Vladimir Putin has congratulated the Azerbaijani President’s wife, Mehriban Aliyeva on her birthday, TASS reports.

“Dear Mehriban Arifovna, accept my warm congratulatory remarks on the occasion of your birthday. As a genuine friend of Russia, you make significant contributions to the strengthening of the strategic partnership between our countries. I am certain that the relations will continue to grow prolifically in all sectors and for the welfare of the Russian and Azerbaijani peoples,” the message reads.
