To fight against the spread of the coronavirus, the German government and the authorities of federal states intend to extend the ban on massive events until December 31, 2020, based on the draft resolution of the joint forum of Chancellor Angela Merkel and the governments of federal stages, DW reports.
Massive events are viewed as folk festivals, attendance at sporting events, big concerts, as well as festivals held on streets and in cities and villages. The number of participants of private events in closed spaces must not exceed 25, and beyond private territories — 50.
