YEREVAN. – Armenia has received AMD 4.9 billion foreign grants and loans in 2010, 51% of planned sources.

Many programs on foreign financing were delayed, chief treasurer Atom Janjugazyan said briefing on execution of 2010 budget in the parliament.

He noted that EU plans to increase Armenia’s financial aid this year with €45-50 million for improvement of infrastructure, €30 million for reforms in the field of trade, and €50 million for social programs.

EU also intends to provide macro financial assistance to Armenia in the amount of €100 million.
