We continue reflecting on the reprinting of the absurd reports of the yellow press. Eduard Aghajanyan, the Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"Lie # 1 - Millions of dollars were spent on the renovation of government private house No. 1. Although I am not authorized to clearly state the amount of money spent, I will only say that the presented number is exaggerated a DOZEN times.

Lie # 2 - Hrachya Hakobyan, an MP of the [majority] My Step faction of the NA [National Assembly] [and the brother-in-law of PM Nikol Pashinyan], took an active part in the selection of a contractor company. This is also an absolute lie, and Mr. Hakobyan was not involved in the mentioned process in any way.

Clarification:

I personally petitioned to the SSS [State Supervision Service] regarding possible misuse during the renovation [of government mansions], so that inspections could start in the SNCO. The results of the inspections were sent to the relevant bodies, on the basis of which an investigation is carried out. The former director of the SNCO has been fired," Aghajanyan added, in particular.
