YEREVAN. – Negotiations with the Russian Federation continue on the resumption of regular flights and the lifting of the ban on entry of Armenian citizens. Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, stated this at a press conference on Wednesday.

She recalled that the March 16 decision of the Russian government has defined the categories of foreign nationals who are allowed to enter the country.

And commenting on the Armenian citizens who are stranded at the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Russian-Georgian border, the Armenian MFA spokesperson reminded that the ban on foreigners entering Georgia has not been lifted. In this regard, she recalled that there are flights from several Russia cities to Yerevan every week, and she proposed to Armenian citizens to use these air routes.

But the vehicles can be delivered to the republic through relevant services, Naghdalyan added.
