A man has hacked to death his wife with an axe, APA reported.

APA notes that on September 2, the prosecutor's office received a signal that Tarana Mammadova (born 1979) had suffered multiple injuries with an axe, as a result of which she died. A criminal case was initiated on premeditated murder.

During the investigation, solid suspicions were established that T. Mammadova was killed by her husband Eyvaz Mammadov out of jealousy. E. Mammadov was detained as a suspect and brought to the investigation.
