Armenia has developed a bill to prescribe administrative liability for failure to fulfill the lawful requirements of employees of state bodies vested with the competence to conduct oversight during not only inspections, but also other activities for tax supervision. This is what Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Eduard Hovhannisyan said during a discussion on the bill on making amendments to the Administrative Offenses Code held as part of today’s session of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly.
According to him, the bill includes a supplement based on which there is not only a fine for the same acts, but also a warning. “This concerns the cases when, in certain circumstances, impeding circumstances are eliminated and imposition of a fine is no longer appropriate,” he added.
After the discussion, the Committee unanimously approved the bill.
