YEREVAN. - No foreign currency transaction was made on NASDAQ OMX Armenia, Friday.
It is the second case over a week which testifies to mutually denying expectations regarding exchange rate.
US Dollar was offered at the rate of AMD 376/ $1 but the demand was registered at AMD 374/ $1 exchange rate which proves dollar tends to go up.
More banks purchased US dollars at an exchange rate of AMD 374/$1. Most likely, exchange rate will vary from AMD 374 to 377/$1 on the weekend.
