The Arab League said the FMs of the participating countries did not come to an agreement on a draft resolution condemning the deal to normalize relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, AFP reported.

There was a serious and comprehensive discussion at the meeting, but no consensus was reached on the resolution proposed by the Palestinian delegation, Arab League  Secretary-General Hossam Zaki told a briefing in Cairo.

According to Zaki, the ministers did not pass the resolution. The Palestinian side chose not to publish the draft resolution without including the concepts being put forward, he said.

Palestinian FM Riyad al-Maliki called on fellow ministers to take a position that rejects this normalization, otherwise, the meeting will be considered a blessing or a conspiracy.

The normalization of relations between the UAE and Israel violated the Arab League's long-standing policy towards the Middle East conflict and was condemned by the Palestinians as betrayal.
