Rapper Kanye West does not qualify to be on the US presidential ballot in the state of Wisconsin after missing a filing deadline, a judge ruled late Friday, upholding a bipartisan decision by the state elections commission, The Associated Press reported.
The decision is likely to be rapidly appealed to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
West has already filed to be registered as a presidential nominee in more than ten states: Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Utah, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Vermont.
