The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence and Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science have signed an agreement on cooperation in the development and use of artificial intelligence, TASS reported referring to WAM.
According to him, the Emirati and Israeli academic institutions signed a memorandum of cooperation in a number of areas with the aim of developing and using artificial intelligence.
The agreements envisage student exchange programs, scientific conferences and seminars, various forms of exchange between research groups, as well as the joint use of the resources of computing centers.
Besides, the memorandum refers to the creation of a joint virtual institute of artificial intelligence.
This deal was the first practical agreement between the Emirati and Israeli academic institutions after the parties announced the normalization of bilateral relations.
