In response to an inquiry from Armenian News-NEWS.am, the National Security Service reported that it had summoned Ishkhan Zakaryan and other persons linked to his case to check to see if acquisition of the lands concerned was lawful or not.

The presses disseminated information according to which Ishkhan Zakaryan, his son and brother were apprehended and taken to the National Security Service. According to hraparak.am, they were summoned due to the case of the park established by the Zakaryans in the area of Garni.

During a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am, Zakaryan’s attorney stated that Zakaryan had been summoned to give an explanation, not apprehended.
