YEREVAN. - The military cooperation between Armenia and Poland has been developing actively within the recent years, Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynsky told a press conference on Monday. He described the bilateral cooperation as a systematic dialogue.

According to Raczynsky, the cooperation between Armenia and Poland in this sphere may be divided into three categories, particularly political dialogue, discussion of departmental issues, especially in terms of implementation of reforms, as well as military-technical cooperation.

“As a country with a large percentage of arms of Russian and Soviet production, Armenia might be interested in Polish products to improve defensive weapons. The negotiations are underway, but no specific agreements have been reached on the matter. The Armenian delegation has recently returned from Warsaw, however, according to the information at my disposal no agreements were achieved,” he emphasized.
